Privacy Policy

Lineup collects no personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. We have no server, so nothing you do in Lineup is sent to us.

The shows you follow

Your list of followed shows is stored in your own iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, so it syncs between your devices. We cannot see it. If you are not signed in to iCloud, the list stays on your device.

Schedules and search

Lineup gets show information directly from TVmaze, a public TV database. When you search, follow a show, or the app refreshes, your device asks TVmaze for those shows and their episodes, and loads poster images from TVmaze. Like any website, TVmaze receives your IP address and the requests your device makes. See the TVmaze privacy policy.

Notifications and widgets

Episode alerts are scheduled on your device. Widgets read schedules saved on your device. Neither involves a server.

Children

Lineup does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
